given the overwhelming number of excellent reviews i am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but my experience was terrible. dr schmitz seemed distracted and was not listening to what i told her. she did not read my records before my visit and scared me badly when she told me i had vaginal cancer which was in reality radiation damage from brachytherapy. the records from my former physician made that clear but she was too busy to read them. i left her office trembling and in tears. there was no cancer in the vagina.

Hands down THE MOST CARING STAFF I've experienced. From the reception to Karen/the nurse, to Dr. Schmitz, they are all so helpful, knowledgeable, empathetic and incredibly kind even on a busy day. Their follow-up with sharing results is timely and personal. I simply cannot say enough good about this provider and office staff—I only wish my other providers shared half the compassion they exhibit on a consistent basis. Special thanks for providing me with such supportive ongoing care. It means so much and I am so appreciative.

I have been seeing Dr Schmitz for three years, everyone is always helpful, caring, and kind. I have never been to an office that offers care a single good as theirs.
Dr. Mary Jo Schmitz is truly one of the most brilliant, compassionate and Caring physicians/surgeons I have ever met! She acted quick to do my hysterectomy surgery as I had been identified with uterine cancer. They reported, “We got it all!” She appeared at 8am the next morning to see me personally and all of her staff was as competent, Cari g and compassionate as she was! Truly a gift to the world. I was blessed to have her on my angel team!

I had an appt. with Dr. Schmitz last week and I'm really impressed with her knowledge and good bed side manners. She will be doing my hysterectomy surgery on Nov. 14 because I have endometrial cancer and she explained it in detail. I'm grateful for her positive attitude as well. She's also from the Midwest like me so we bonded.
