After having cancer, nothing is more nerve- wracking than follow up appointments. However, ever time I visit Dr. Schmitz, I am overcome with a sense of calm and always feel so loved up and taken care of. My most recent visit was a bit overdue, and Dr. Schmitz greeted me with the most reassuring bear hug:) Hands down the best doctor and support staff I have ever had...and I have had a lot!

This was my wife, Sharon's first visit for consultation about an operation. The staff was friendly, caring and considerate of her dementia. Dr Schmitz was great. She had reviewed the prior info sent and knew exactly what needed to be done. Her exam of Sharon was compassionate and she explained the upcoming procedure clearly and answered all my questions.

I am 66 and never had any surgery.So I was floored when I was told I had stage 1 uterine cancer and needed a hysterectomy. Dr.Mary Jo Schmitz explained everything to me and gave me great odds for a full recovery cancer free. My boyfriend has had 6 surgeries and was hugely impressed by Mary Jo and her crew. He couldn't believe how nice everyone was.
Best GYN anywhere. Very warm and friendly. Great surgeon to.

Dr. Scmitz is a very professional, compassionate and knowledgable doctor. She spends time answering your questions and explaining treatment options and procedures.
