I have never had a more incredible health-care experience as that with Dr.Schmitz and her entire team. During what was a harrowing time, they evoked warmth, care, humor, and a deep purpose in every conversation and encounter. Three doctors had independently recommended her and I am forever grateful. Props to Swedish Hospital too. What an incredible place. Thank you.
I highly recommend Dr. Schmitz and her associate, Karen. They are very thorough, kind, patient and caring and one needs the emotional help as well as the physical when dealing with the issues you see her about.
Her confidence helped me feel more at peace with the surgery. I love how fast I was able to see her and get my needs met almost instantly! She is an amazing doctor, and a wonderful woman. She listens and respectfully gives you feedback. I am in awe of her. She called my fears of cancer just with her swift actions, and her wonderful sense of empathy.

A disabled friend needed a gynecological oncologist, and I selected Dr. Schmitz. She is wonderful. She accommodated my friends special needs and gave sound medical advice. She did a robotic full hysterectomy, and my friend was fully recovered in about a week. I expected a nightmare and got a miracle! Thank you Dr. Schmitz!

Dr. Schmitz is truly an authentically caring doctor! She is professional, takes time to educate you the patient on your options, and is very much a respecter of persons, She is a delightful person, easy to trust as a caregiver, and even hugs her patients! Would highly recommend her, and I am a nurse, so I am really picky about who I go to as a physician!
Finding a new doctor when one moves to a new city is always daunting, but I have nothing but praise for Dr. Schmitz and her entire staff - from our first meeting, they have all always made us feel comfortable, and have always responded to questions and phone calls promptly and helpfully.
I just adore Dr. Schmitz. She came into the exam room with a very funny Heelloooo! and instantly made me laugh, put me at ease, made the entire experience easier. I was scared to death and she took so much time explaining everything, answered all my questions, and put my fears to rest. She is so knowledgeable, warm, patient, compassionate, professional, has a great sense of humor and caring. I will refer all my women friends to her. And the office staff is great too, very kind and caring.
