This by far thee worst hospital in MI. Which is nothing new per the reviews! Why would you have someone. That's having a major surgery be there by their self. Anyone coming into the hospital for something serious should be allowed 1 supportive person. Well that's what your signs says posted in front of the entrance (pics)🤔. They don't communicate. The department that's doing the surgery on the 3rd flr. Said it was ok. Then the people in the ER had no ideal of what we were saying. You never know what could happen to the pait... read more

I was unable to speak and was paralyzed when I came to Mary Free Bed at Covenant hospital. The first night I was too warm with the blankets tucked tightly around my feet so I rang the nurse for help as I was unable to pull the blankets off myself. No one came. I rang them ALL night and no one EVER came. I couldn’t even tell anyone the next day. The second night, same scenario only this time after I finally fell asleep sweating the nurse came in and decided that I was burning up so they had an ambulance take me to the ER to b... read more

My husband was admitted to MFB after he had suffered a cardiac arrest and sustained an anoxic brain injury. His injury was pretty severe and the initial outlook was pretty grim. The hard work and passion that all of the doctors, nurses, therapists, case workers, housekeepers, nutrition workers, and everyone else is beyond belief. Making miracles happens requires HARD WORK! Milo spent slightly less than three weeks there. When he was admitted, he could barely walk, talk, or eat. He was discharged yesterday and has regained all... read more

I was here in 2019 for 20 days and honestly it was an amazing experience. All the staff were very knowledgeable and happy to be there. You could tell that they loved their job and knew what they were doing. They let me go at my own pace which was a little faster than they expected. They people to help you medically, mentally, physically and emotionally. I honestly enjoyed everyone I met the doctors, nurses, pt/ptas, rt, ot, dialysis nurses and the food delivery people. if someone needs to go to physical therapy I would defin... read more

The entire staff did an amazing job with me in my recovery from West Nile Virus and encephalitis. I can't express how grateful I am for the miracle they were able to do.

I've been there on 2 separate occasions. The staff were the best, most knowledgeable about tips and the depression I felt during recovery. PT kept me very busy, but isn't that why I was there? Dr.B knew what I needed before I even asked. Learning to walk, cognitive help peppered with compassion is the winning ticket. This all happened before the new building. I would always want Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation!
