I was given a mammogram appointment several weeks ago for Friday March 1 @ 3:15pm. I arrived on time & both doors closed & lights off. I called @ 3:17am & was told “Friday is their early day, their last appointment was 2:45pm”. My appointment WAS definitely 3:15pm. I’ve been a healthcare worker for 40 yrs. The LEAST that should have been done is to call & reschedule me before I got out in inclement weather @ “rush hour” with a chronically ill spouse who brought me. The FIRST appointment was canceled 20 minutes before by the center. I live an hour away. I was almost there when I received the call. 2ND appointment made. Showed up and was told I didn't have a scheduled appointment. Once again an hour away This place is ridiculous
This is the worst place to schedule an appt! You have to go thru so many questions and ppl it’s ridiculous! Why can’t we just have a direct line to the office we want to make appt to, then you never get called back if connection is lost, it’s then back to the start all over again! Sooo frustrating!
The women at the Mary Ellen Breast Center in Hixson are really very professional. They put you at ease and make you as comfortable as you can be during the procedure. I would not go anywhere else.
