Great staff that took amazing care of our daughter and the whole family. Volunteers were amazing and made a costume for her. If your child needs a hospital this is the place to go.
Everyone here were just amazing ....my son was very well taken cared of ..ty to all the staff here your all very special people..
Just brought my son home today from a stay at Mary Bridge and I must say that the staff is incredible.. From the valet going above and beyond (no wheelchairs so he offered to carry my very sick child) to the patient and thorough doctors, friendly volunteers, and stealthy nurses who managed to not wake sleeping child or sleeping mom (may God bless your souls!), to the nice folks working in the cafeteria who were extra patient while my exhausted brain tried to figure out what a $5 bill looked like, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YO... read more
What can we say, we went in on 5/12 for our 4 month old daughters surgery and once again we were treated like gold. The drs and nurses make you feel as close to home as you can. The nurse went as far as to take our daughter on a little walk to let us get some rest. Its the little things like that and bringing our older daughter pictures to color that shows just how special the staff is there. When your4 year old son says "I had a good time at the hospital" you know it was something special. We were seen almost immediately (so fast my son was sad he didn't get to play with the toys/videos in the waiting room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The nurses were great. And a lovely woman came to speak to our son and make sure HIS questions were answered. He was given some playdoh and a Popsicle while we waited. I will never again take my child to a Mary Bridge outpatient clinic. Eventough they are owned by Multicare, they charge outrageous facility charges, $752 for a 5 by 10 room for 15 min. That other clinics owned by Multicare without the name Mary bridge don't charge. They never disclosed that I would pay 3 times as much for seeing same type of doc for 1/10th the time with doc with a much smaller worse equipped room. The clinics should dislose this. When I was pregnant with my first child I chose to deliver her at Tacoma General given that Mary Bridge had just a great reputation, in case anything went wrong. Fourteen years later, we found ourselves in the PICU with our son, after he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. My 7 month old was recently hospitalized in the medical surgical unit for RSV for several days. My husband and I were obviously worried, but all the doctors and nurses made us feel as much at ease as they could. Dr. Haferbecker, Dr. Telsey, Kate Osborne (surgical P.A.) were amazing. I want to especially thank our nurses, Scarlet and Sydelle. They were an answer to prayer and extremely kind.
