The former New York Giants baseball player William G. Martin opened this neighborhood pub in 1933. Today his grandson, Billy Martin runs the family business. Dark wood paneling and touches of hunter green make for an attractive interior. The menu features American and continental classics - steak and seafood as well as pasta served with marinara or alfredo sauces.

Boycott Martin's Tavern for Racial Profiling of any type, especially in Washington, DC an inclusive city. If it happened with Kristi Riggs with such ease, there is no doubt that other people of color have experienced the same type of treatment and profiling. This is truly a such a failure of Business etiquette and Ethical practices, and also blatant disregard for the law.
