First-rate doctor who has saved my vision. I will never be able to thank him enough.
I had the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Martinez recently on short notice. My issue was identified in Virginia, and needed a follow-up with a professional specializing in the retina. Since I had to immediately travel to Texas for private business, Dr. Martinez kindly volunteered to work me into his schedule. I suffered a dramatic and instantaneous partial loss of vision on 21 Jan 2019 in my left eye. I had no idea what was going on so I stopped by Costco in Cedar Park and saw Dr. Linda Pak. She informed me I was hemorrhaging in that eye and called Dr. Martinez on the spot. 90 minutes later I had been examined by Dr. Martinez even though it was very late in the day and he performed laser surgery to repair several tears in my retina and a partially detached retina. Dr. Martinez has a calm, reassured, sophisticated, presence that is calming to a patient and which exudes confidence that all will turn out well. That is exactly what I needed when I came to him and have always found when I have an apppointment with Dr. Martinez. I have already told several other people about him and continue to sing his praises to all who will listen.
Dr. Martinez and his staff were so helpful and nice. They helped me identify the problem and take care of it as soon as possible. I loved my experience there, no complaints!
An absolutely great experience at Austin Retina. The staff are professional, friendly, and provided with the most state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, at least as far as I’ve ever seen. Dr. Martinez is fantastic. Great patient manner, and explained everything clearly so that I knew exactly what was happening with my eyes. I can not recommend he and his clinic any higher! Awesome.
