Need spring for garage door replacement. Call Martin door and was quoted $75 - 140 per spring plus the labor. When the technician arrived the price went up to $500 to replace everything including 2 springs and cables plus some other unneeded parts. After some time it was $350 then $300. On top of this there is a $20 "inspection fee".

The highest quality garage/overhead doors on the market. There is a reason they are installed all over the world.

About a decade ago I got a Martin door garage opener. Several several issues along the way. I paid for the lifetime warranty. Today I was told I needed a brand new garage door and that Martin Doors no longer honors their lifetime warranty. Karma will get them.

We have been so very frustrated with the quality of our Martin doors since the day we installed them. Added to that frustration is the difficulty we are having as we try to replace 2 damaged sections on a Martin door. It has been over a month since the new sections were ordered and now we are being told that it will cost another $200 before they will even begin to make the new sections. This after they gave us a quote, we paid the money, and have even closed out the claim with our insurance company. It seems that our 4-year-... read more

We have a beautiful door and they did a great job installing it, but it was expensive!!! It started out at $1400 and by the time we got it to look like what we wanted it was $2600 NOT including the seals, decorative hardware and a garage door opener. Those would have been an extra $1000. I felt like I got nickel and dimed to death. Every tiny thing was an extra charge. The door is small, only 9 feet wide. 🙄

How does Martin reward a year and a half of hard work? By firing you. Great doors but poorly managed company.

Worst company ever. Never buy one of their openers unless you want to pay for service calls the rest of your life figuring out some stupid problem. Get a Liftmaster belt drive if you want a quiet motor. Martin doors is terrible, and this is coming from a service technician.
