I had an ovary cyst removed by Dr Martino with robotic laparoscopy. Dr Martino was referred by my Obgyn Dr Pennant. I am so grateful for how he took care of me. I was very nervous about possible cancer, incisions, stitches, risks. I had a great experience with multiple consultations in person and over the phone, I felt heard as he addressed all of my concerns and explained what to expect. He listened and worked with my fears, thanks to his guidance I was able to have the surgery and remove a cyst of 15 years that posed a big... read more

I was referred to Dr. Martino by my GYN due to findings from a hysteroscopy. I was immediately put at ease and his laparoscopic robotic surgery was explained for the total hysterectomy I needed. It has been 5 days postop and the pain level is minimal. I couldn’t be more pleased with such a skilled, compassionate physician asDr. Martin Martino.

I seen him first in the hospital after many years of suffering. Other issues I had made other drs turn away. Dr. Martino was on board to give me quality of life. He did just exactly that. Follow up appointments have been wonderful as well. His care goal is treat us as if we are family and he does exactly that.

Dr. Martino knew I was desperately in need of medical care. Excruciating pain and 2 weeks in and out of emergency rooms, being sent home after several tests and no medical determination of what was happening. Dr. Martino knew after seeing all test results and ever so kindly walking through the entire experience with me. He told my daughter to take me directly to the hospital. He performed the surgery that day using the da Vinci method and I went home the next day. In all my 73 years, I've never met a doctor as caring, though... read more

My friend had hysterectomy on April 3, 2023. At 79 she started bleeding in November 2022. Numerous visits to another Dr and polyps removal at another hospital did not solve issue. Only put her on hormones to stop bleeding which had an adverse on her health. Finally went st Vincent's er early march. Referred her to Dr Martin as she calls him. All at ascension st Vincent's agreed hysterectomy was needed to help her! Saw her March 8 and done surgery in April. He and his staff treated both of us great. Answered all concerns sinc... read more

Dr Martino is an amazing doctor! He is intelligent, kind, with a great bedside manner. I was diagnosed with a cyst on my ovary that was possibly cancerous. He performed robotic surgery to remove it along with a hysterectomy. The cyst was softball sized and benign. He made 5 extremely small incisions. After surgery, I had little to no pain and was up and walking. I am still taking things slowly but am feeling great. I highly recommend Dr Martino for gynecological oncology robotic surgery. I am very happy with the results. Tha... read more
