Not a fan of Dr Macomber....bedside manner is not warm at all for being a Pediatrician. Will not return after one visit. Everyone has a bad day, but we sensed an overall burned out feeling about her. No sensitivity for illness in children nor does she care what tests are performed and has no clue as to their costs.
Never had to switch doctors before until encountering this doctor Macomber. She is very rude, has such an attitude, and acts as if anything the parent says does not matter because she knows it all. If you are a new parent and are looking for a great pediatrician to take your new baby to, I would suggest picking a different doctor that will show more care and less attitude.
She's been a very good Doctor for a long time, we are using her for our youngest and used her for our oldest still he was out of High school, I like her very much, she has a slightly odd semi childish way to talk especially to the kids, , since she dealing with kids that I can see people who want to be offended seeing as condescending, but i think she's just appealing to the kids as opposed to the parents. She's been an excellent phsisican for us and we would reccomend her highly.

I would not recommend her at all. She does not listen to the parent or their concerns. She is rude, condescending, and acts like she knows all. I acknowledge that I'm not a pediatrician, but I DO know my child better than anyone else and I can tell you what is and isn't normal for my child. As a pediatrician I think it's her responsibility to at least listen to what the parent has to say. Instead she is very dismissive.
She does not support the parent and or have genuine desire for the wellness of the child. Martha B Abreu-Macomber was disrespectful, rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Bad bedside manner.
