RecommendedDrs. Joseph and James Martel are exceptional and I wouldn't allow anyone else to touch my eyes. They've handled retina tear surgeries for me, removed glass from my niece's eye, did cateracts eye surgeries on my 86 year old mother, fixed a terrible infection affecting my then husband's eye and more. They make themselves available, return calls promptly and are busy - yes they are - because they are in high demand. No one is better for a delicate eye surgery!

This office has a lot of problem with a hit and run, I had an appointment today February 10 between 11 30 and 12 30 and someone hit my car and didn't leave any of their information. Call back to ask if they have camaras in the premises and their answer was that they have a lot of these hit and run issues. My question if they do, why they don't install them? will be nice so they can protect their patient, now I have to came out of my pocket with $500 .
Never will I step a foot into this building for their horrible unorganized staff. Be prepared to wait 2 hours plus after your appointment time and when you are seen you will feel rushed out of there by the doctor examining your eyes because he’s behind schedule. Maybe they shouldn’t book that many patients to be seen if they are always behind schedule. I understand 10-15 minutes behind but a whole 2 hour plus? Do not waste your time going to this place!!! It’s a warning!

Dr Martel's office and staff are very friendly. There office is very clean. I've never had a problem with them. The dr explained everything he was going to do before he did it so there was no surprise. He will do what he can before sending you to a neither dr. I got an injection in my eye and felt nothing. He will make sure you are numb. When they take a person to the back to do an eye exam they wipe the machines down with alcohol wipes to sanitize it so you can see them doing it. I was a patient of Martel Eye for 4 or 5 years. While they are a good group of people, the FACT that they are ALWAYS 3 or more hours behind schedule was very aggravating. Be prepared to take an entire day off to spend in their offices. I no longer go to Martel Eye. I go to a doctor within my medical group. Each time I was in and out in 45 minutes. Sure beats Martel Eye by a long shot. I give Martel Eye 1/2 of a star.
