The Staff! Very Intelligent People that are very persistent in moving you in the right direction.I rate my stay on the 7th floor and O R an absolute ten. And that includes everyone from the cleaners and cooks all the way up to the RNs, Doctors, Surgeon's and office staff. U.P Health system! What A Great Team! Thank You!
I had triple bypass surgery on December 7 2017 and was back in my recliner 5 days later. I needed a bypass a few months later still doing fine.
nicu nurses are all amazing and wonderful. they are very helpful and there when you need them. I couldn't ask for a better team to take care of my baby
The staff that cared for me from the time I arrived at UP Health until the time I left were great. Especially my nurse Easton on the 6th Floor on the night of 7/20th..he was the best! Great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable when I was feeling pretty lousy. And he brought me to watch the beautiful sunrise right outside my room the morning of my surgery. Dr Edward's was friendly and was thorough in explaining my surgery. Thank you!
My father brought my mother in to the emergency department for an injury. My mother has dementia. He made sure staff was aware. He left to go home after several hours to get her med list. While home he called twice with no answer. Then a neighbor came to the door and told him his wife was found wandering around Marquette. He returned and refused to leave her there. horrible. brought my mom in to the ER and they said she was delusional (won’t get in depth on why) and the next day she ended up passing away and the doctors didn’t know the cause. The doctors don’t know anything and didn’t even perform an autopsy even though her passing was unknown.
Amid all the pandemic issues I want to say the ER Staff continues to make me proud! After 50 years of visits my 2am visit last night was customer service perfect! They were so professional, kind and patient. Although my visit was not serious the pain was unbearable and they listened and explained very carefully! It was fast and helped me so much! Makes me Proud to still be an employee 40 years later!
