Mark On Madison isn't somewhere you come if you're looking for a cheap haircut. However, if you're looking for a great cut, friendly stylists and good service, then this is the place for you. Mark is a genius. I was the last appointment of his day yesterday. He was running a little late, but then again, so was I. It was my first time at the salon, but he made me feel welcome and comfortable. I've cut my hair short before and had many bobs over the years. I have had my hair all different colors, cuts and styles done by 100 different people, and I have to say the best it's ever looked is after it's been handled by Mark. He knows how to customize a look to suit your style, and he has a very welcoming and relaxing presence, which is a major plus. I have had Mark do my hair many different ways, and I have always been very, very happy with the results. My mom has also had her hair cut by him, and she will no longer go to anyone else. We love Mark, and you will, too.

I love Mark On Madison and I love Mark. About 2 years ago I decided to get rid of my short hairs of 12 years and get extensions. When I showed up, I was PETRIFIED, controlling and neurotic. But Mark was so patient and calmed me down. He must have talked with me about what I wanted and what would best suit me for about half an hour before we got down to business. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff and world class products....... that don't leave your lungs burned. I jumped on the Living Social bandwagon and I am beyond satisfied with my choice. The mate could not keep his eyes off of me all night....he loved the new look. You know what happened later on right? Perv!

Mark is a wonderful, talented hair stylist and his salon is really nice as well! I showed him what I wanted and he did exactly that and checked and double checked to make sure I liked it. Responsive to input and very reasonably priced for someone as experienced as he is. I will definitely be returning!

It's hard to try a hair stylist for the first time, but like most of us do, I read the CitySearch reviews and decided to go see Mark. When I walked into the salon I was impressed by the cleanliness and the décor. Mark greeted me and I immediately felt comfortable. I told him I wanted to freshen up my layers, cut off all the dead ends but keep my length. And he did an amazing job!! I just had the best experience here! I just went in for a trim, and it has been a while because I was trying to grow my hair out. However, I was getting a lot of split ends and my hair looked really damaged. When I walked in Mark greeted me so warmly and than assesed my hair with me and decided to give me a complimentary hot Keratin deep conditioning treatment. It made my hair so soft and shiny! Mark, the owner is a very down-to-earth, pleasant person to engage with and his aesthetic sensibilities are on display in the interior design of the space, with clean lines and contemporary touches.
