Dr. Messing is great. He’s been my oncologist since 2011. His staff is awesome also.
Dr. Messing took out a mass from my abdomen and subsequently found some cancer cells. I went thru chemo and he has been very reassuring throughout the whole process. He has explained all test results and future plans. I would highly recommend Dr. Messing (and his staff).
Dr. Messing has excellent patient interaction skills. He is very thorough and explains everything clearly and precisely.

I have been seeing Dr. Messing over the last 7 years. Through my cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, he has been very patient, caring and always seems to listen to and answer my questions and concerns.
He was always asking if I had any questions, and then would answer them!
Dr. Messing was dismissive, condescending and irritated at questions. If you are a woman under 40, find another doctor. I am very surprised Texas Oncologu allows him to represent them.
What I love about Dr. Messing and his staff, is that they always make you feel good about yourself no matter your situation. They are always positive throughout the entire office, including front staff, lab techs, doctor's nurses & their practioners and let's not forget the OUTSTANDING infusion staff. Everyone makes you feel like they have known you forever and I feel that helps with the healing process. I always look forward going there for my treatments every 3 weeks.
