Staff was professional and helpful. Dr. Mackey is an incredible physician. He is patient and thorough. He gives great attention to detail and takes time to explain everything. I would highly recommend using Dr. Mackey.
Entire experience was positive. Staff very caring, very willing to explain options. I did not feel rushed.
I would gladly recommend Dr Mark Mackey as an orthopedic surgeon. He did a complete knee replacement for me. He did not rush to surgery but after several years of alternative ways to reduce knee pain, Dr Mackey proposed a knee replacement solution that used a scan to give measurements that would help insure that my knee replacement was designed for me.
He is good doc. Attentive, I never felt rushed, visits daily at the hospital after the rgical procedure. Only feels all knees replacements should heal in 2 months time. He limits the pain medicine and pain still prevalent. Suggest patient utilize Tylenol or Motrin. Despite my mom having been on opiates for 8 years. Other than this he is a great doc. His PA Dwanna is excellent too. The Front office ladies are marvelous!
2014, 24 yr old son/minor injury Son was on our ins. He had dreadlocks to waist, worked part time, lived at home. had vibrant chat during eval re pot as a pain reliever. Macke knew son was a drug user, but no job. 1st scheduled surgery canceled due to sons pot use. Dr rescheduled. Dr said knee would have healed on own/needed 1 stitch. Dr. Rx was Vicodin. I stated son was bipolar and Vicodin shouldn’t be given to bipolar son. Dr. ignored. Son had phsychotic episode, was violent, ended w/ jail. :(
Dr .Mackey has performed surgery and follow up on my rt.knee and lt.knee. I was extremely satisfied with the diagnosis and surgeries-including follow-up. Two years between surgery rt. and lt. knee. Prior to that had a series of euflexa (?sp.) injections to both knees two different times. Then the recommendation of surgery.
I was supposed to have a total knee replacement. Thank God I went for the second opinion to Dr Macky. He told me I only needed a partial knee replacement which was a Macoplasty surgery. I went home the same day. Lot less pain and quick recovery. I would go back to him in a heartbeat beat. Thank you Dr Macky??
I had hip replacement surgery. Great surgeon, spends time explaining every option, and is very kind and compassionate. Great staff as well.
Best Doc ever!!! January 25th 2016 Dr. Mackey changed my life for the better!! I had double knee surgery with on my knees. I felt as if I was the only patient Dr. Mackey and the hospital had! Fantastic experience! July 16th 2016 I put on my hockey skates for the first time in 11 years at open skate! September 11th 2016 I played my first hockey game in 11 1/2 years! I played hockey until I was 50 with a knee brace. Now, no more knee brace. 61 years old going on 20! Never felt so good!:>)
