I understand when someone has a bad experience. I can't say his staff was exemplary. But, Dr. Grossnickle's work was stellar. Short scar, no pain afterward and very professional. He even worked with me to get the pain meds I needed desperately during rehab and was getting. Of COURSE I stopped using them as the surgical pain lessened. He was over the top, especially after receiving an unnecessary knee scrape at the place on Harmony forcing me to get the replacement. I am so grateful for Dr Grossnickel. He was able to resolve my problem so that I am no longer in pain. It got to the point that I was crying and I was no longer ambulatory . I had to rent a scooter to be mobile. I ended up getting the hip replacment and I was impressed at the recovery time. After months of of being in so much pain it is nice to wake up post op and to the find pain was totally gone. It's amazing to me how hip surgery has progressed. Can’t really justify 1star. Had many experiences with this doc. First bad time I was dismissed for serious back infection. I was ignored for 6months. My Chiropractor convinced me to go back to Grossnickle with my husband. Never was called back with second scan results, so I got a copy of it myself and the ER admitted me. By then there was way more damage. In hospital 2weeks. Next time was admitted to ortho floor after total hip replacement dislocated the second time. This replacement was done in Denver.
