Dr. Kurd is a magician taking me as a broken 51 year old once highly active and athletic man from his knees to restoring his ability to participate in life again. Literally came to Dr. Kurd on my knees unable to stand up due to severe herniated l4-5 s1 disc issues. Had my lumbar discectomy on 3/9/2018, flawless procedure and was walking with out any pain in 6 weeks. Immediately after the surgery my pain was relieved. This is a success story, Dr. Kurd has my full confidence and HIGHLY recommend.
He assisted me with my back condition and pain and guided me through several non surgical solutions. These solutions worked but where short in effect, he then suggested surgery which he performed. The outcome was excellent and all previous pain is resolved. Great Job!
Dr Kurd is a skilled and competent spinal surgeon. I was given his name indirectly by one of his ortho colleagues and never forgot it - especially when I was in desperate need of surgical intervention just a few weeks ago. Dr Kurd LISTENED to me and saw the pain I was experiencing, reviewing my condition and possible surgical options....he scheduled me quickly and my recovery has been outstanding, albeit quite normal with the usual issues. I can never forget his kindness and understanding.

I think Dr. Kurd is a very experience doctor but his mannerisms leaves a lot to be desired. Both my mother and I went at different times and experienced the same attitude. He’s young we’re old.
I’m very appreciative of Dr. Kurds skill, mannerisms, and approach. I felt comfortable with our conversations and felt he was invested in ensuring my health improved. I am extremely satisfied with the results and have returned back to a normal active lifestyle thanks to his care.
I put off the idea of having back surgery for several years going to pain centers and therapy only out of fear. Once the pain was unbearable and preventing me from sleeping I was recommended to see Dr. Kurd. After tests were done and medical records collected he recommended trying injections which helped slightly but did not help at night. Once surgery Dr. Kurd performed the fusion surgery I was amazed that I was up and walking in the hospital within a few hours. I went home the same day.
Felt like just another number no personal connection and felt rushed through an assembly line at the appointment. Front desk, xray, meet with MA, see doc for 10 mins, back to surgery scheduler for finance, set up appt for after surgery with a PA and not even doc...and get a cervical collar.. months before they even know if insurance approves!! Staff made comment doc does 3-4 of these a week!! Staff was friendly but felt in my gut this was not the type of institute or doc for me.
