This man is by far the best..fix my shoulder when Docs in my area could not or would not. has gone above and beyond what most Dr.would do...I have recevied phone calls... Went to FDA to try something new cause I didn't want surgery. He sat spoke with me,drew pictures so I could understand what was goinhg on and why. His knowledge of shoulders & elbow is Superior. Dr. Lazarus repaired my torn labrum, and my shoulder is completely back to normal. He may come across as arrogant yeah but good surgeons have to be super confident in what they do and of course it may come across as cocky. I had a really, really good experience with him and totally trust his abilities.
dr. lazarus was my favorite! he informed me very well and knew what he was talking about. he is by far one of my favorite doctors. i reccomed him very much. i loved him and so did my family! AND HE WAS VERY VERY NICE even cracked a few jokes
very arogant. he ignored my pain at all my post op visits, never gave me a comprehensive clinical exam, wrote off my physical therapist as an "idiot" when all of the special tesing in their office was coming back positive. seemed more afraid that he had missed something or had botched my surgery than the fact that i was in pain.
This guy IS arrogant. My daughter had a surgery done some years back by a Rothman doctor and has lived with pain ever since. We tried to see Lazarus but, after hearing our story, we were told he will not see her. Still, then, my daughter will live in pain. Has he no heart? We're going back to Kelly.
Ditto on the other ratings...not good. Would not recommend the machine that is Rothman or this Doc
I would certainly not recommend Dr. Lazarus to anyone. I am not satisfied with my surgery or treatment from Dr. Lazarus or The Rothman Institute.
Dr. Mark Lazarus is arrogant. He did a biceps tendon repair on my husband that failed. The amount of swelling from this surgery left my husband needing carpal tunnel surgery. Dr. Lazarus'comments were , "my surgery looks excellent, go get another opinion." My husband did just that----biceps tendon rerupture and you need carpal tunnel surgery. Thank you Dr. Lazarus!!!!!
Told me if I had a total shoulder replacement done I would be pain free. Three years later am still dealing with the pain. On a return visit when I was still complaining of the pain he told me to go get another opinion and walked out of the room. I had 3 surgeries done out of Rothman between Lazarus and another doctor and I feel you really are just a number. Both doctors wrote me off when I complained of pain and told me to go see a pain specialist. I would never recommend that group to anyone.
