My first and last experience with this salon was TODAY. Do NOT book with Le'Airua McHenry at this location! I made an appt with her a little over a week ago AND gave a deposit. Today, 30mins before my appt at 9 AM for Boho Knotless Braids i got a text from her saying she had to move my appt to 12pm because "they didnt have any space". Seeing as I made a deposit which is supposed to RESERVE MY SPACE i was confused. I have been going to this salon for years. Anthony is an ARTIST and takes excellent care of his business. He has cared for my relaxed hair; helped me transition to natural; has cut it, styled it, colored it; I’ve gotten it braided. He did my hair for my wedding. EVERYTHING. All of the stylists are EXCELLENT. They are professional & punctual. I am so grateful for this establishment & couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. This salon is truly a gift to the city of Pittsburgh.

I live in Lawrence county where, as far as I know, there is no where for an African American woman to get her hair done. I was so pleased to find Mark Anthony Salon in Oakland. Anthony Jefferson gave me a great cut on my natural hair. He and his staff are kind and engaging. I am very pleased!
