Dr. Mario John is an absolutely great person! He is very sociable and friendly. He explains everything fully. Also the staff at Lakeland Regional are awesome with their care giving. I had a complete hip replacement with no complications. If needed in the future, I will Have Dr. John do the surgery. Dr. Mario John performed a total hip replacement (anterior approach) on me in November. It was amazing! He had me walking unassisted in 2 weeks! This was the best experience and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs surgery!! So thankful. Julia
I cannot say enough good things about Dr John. He performed two hip replacements on me and was all and more that I could ask in a doctor. He listened, he was informative, he was kind. Don't hesitate to seek him out if you have hip or knee pain. He cares.

On October 23, 2025, Dr. John performed a total knee replacement surgery on my right knee. He told me what to expect. Dr. John told me the day of surgery that he would take care me and he did just that . Enhabit Home Health did my therapy in my home because I couldn't afford going somewhere else for therapy. Dr. John allowed them to continue my therapy for four more weeks. Today, 12/10/2025, he released me because I am walking on my own and doing my exercises everyday.
