Dr. Berkowitz attention was very good, professional and accurate in his diagnosis, he really cares about his patients and makes them feel family (not just a stranger with a number to bill)
Breadth of knowledge, caring demeanor
Although Dr. Berkowitz and the therapist and staff are excellent professionals-charming, organized and very professional- I was shocked and disappointed by Sheila Rosemberg’s attitude on my fallow up. She was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful of me, my time, and my appointment. Doctor, I understand that you may deal with “90 cases of frozen shoulder a day”, but I only have one left shoulder, and I want to know exactly what I have, as I cannot afford to be disabled.
Doctor Berkowitzs took time examining my ankle and explained to me the injury and treatment methods throughly. Unlike some orthopedist who see 5 to 10 patients at same time and just spend 2 mins on you, and walk out of the room without even telling you that he is not gonna back in the room again.
The doctor is good but the attention at the center is terrible, I spent almost 2 hours waiting to be seen at the end, still waiting in the office, I grabbed my things and left, I asked for a refund of the payment for the appointment, I was not willing to wait one more minute
My experience was extremely poor in every aspect. The wait to see the doctor was always between 1-3 hours, and he was not friendly at all. The worst part was that he provided incorrect medical advice for my ankle fracture. He eventually gave up because he didn't know what to do and recommended surgery. Disagreeing with his recommendation, I consulted another orthopedic doctor.
