Clean up the Emergency front desk people. They have terrible attitudes and don't care about patients. Male workers flirting with female workers and visa versa. I've seen cops sitting at the window blabbing which I had to WAIT until they were done so I could check in. Then they gave ME an attitude when I said excuse me. Workers hanging in the waiting area taking up space and staring at patients and customers. The most UNPROFESSIONAL emergency room I ever witnessed in my life. My 4 yr old arrived at 5:02 pm with high blood pressure. We sat in the waiting room until 12:37am before he was seen. That's a shame for any sick person to sit and wait that long at any hospital.
I am 4 weeks pregnant. I went to the emergency room yesterday, because I had spotting and sharp pains after passing hard stools (tmi). I waited four hours and when the doctor finally called me back he rushed me. While the doctor was doing my pelvic exam, he didn't tell me how bad it would hurt. Neither did he tell me that I would possibly have bleeding afterwards. He was extremely rude throughout the whole procedure and not once did he comfort me. Terrible if they can't figure out what's wrong with you they will tell you that you have a virus and send you home to die.
It's the worst ER ever, been here since 10 pm and it's now 5am and still haven't been called I've been sitting here and watched sick people leave one person had been sitting here for 9 hours still hadn't been called not even to take his vitals. I live 20 min away from MP. In the future I will drive farther to another hospital. I would recommend any other hospital but maria parham.
Recently there. Very dirty ! No help with personal hygiene. Employees seemed unhappy !
