I've always have received good care here.
My elderly parents were often patients at MPH in the later years of life. Each time they were there for extended stays they received excellent medical care. We always had the best nurses who took great care of my parents and family members staying in the room with them too. They answered endless questions we had about their condition and helped us understand what was happening with the doctor’s orders. We always left with a blessing, thankful that our community had such a wonderful facility.
Mariah Parham Franklin Tried to be seen tonight and a lady told us that she had been there for 5 hrs. The lady at the front desk told everyone in the waiting room that the waiting time was ridiculous and if we needed to be seen we need to leave and go to wake med. I had already been waiting over 2 hrs and hadn’t been triaged yet. I have an open wound infection and cellulitis and history of sepsis but wasn’t able to be seen as I waited over 2 hrs with my young daughter and couldn’t wait another 5 hrs. waited 3 and a half hours in the sub waiting room just for them to change out a catheter, 10 minutes of service,
this is the worst hospital ever. the nurses dont wnt do their jobs. They ignore you. I will NEVER EVER come back here for any procefure!!
horrible! my son was in the waiting room for 6 hours last night before he was seen, my kid is 6 years old and wasn't able to eat or drink for the past 2 days without getting sick. my sons grandma took him and from what I was told they weren't busy and the nurses and front dest people were just making jokes all night. could care less about her concerns for my son.... when he finally got seen the doctor didn't even come in the room for awhile and didnt give hardly any information as to what could be wrong with my kid, the wait... read more
Nursing staff extremely rude and not personable at all! Rooms on 4th floor and bathrooms are filthy (stick on test equipment and pubic hairs as well as some type of fluid left in bathroom). Also food trays are filthy and nursing staff did not keep up with prescribed Medicine my father was taking. Had to tell them four times what to give him. Nursing staff arguing in the room with each other while trying to flush out a phishel in his arm that they couldn't do..... just all around BAD experience!
