One of the most racist establishments I’ve ever worked for.
So incredibly sad about the planned close of the slo location. This has been a family favorite of ours for years. Where else can we go for our mushroom cravings? Best of luck to all the employees who remember our favorite booth and what we like to drink and that I always ask for extra napkins.
If you want a big breakfast that takes two plates and includes picture perfect pancakes next to eggs and bacon, try the special at Margie’s. When I’m in town for work I make a point to get out there at least once. You won’t need lunch that day.
Good home cooking. One meal is more than most people can eat in one sitting.
The potatoes were cold and French toast cold. Services was great.

A number one place for breakfast, bring a ginormous appetite, their omelettes will feed 2!
Margie's has always been very good and they've maintained a good consistency over the 20+ years I've been eating there. Their food is massive, served on large, heavy plates. Biscuits are some of the best I've ever tasted. Gravy is excellent, too. Stop in and enjoy!
