Just spent my birthday at the fabulous vintage restored jewel -- The Marcus Whitman Hotel-- in downtown Walla Walla, WA!
My company put us up here overnight during our Christmas celebration. It was VERY impressive! The staff was top notch, and the hotel was immaculate. My girlfriend and I are already planning our next outing there on our own.
An incredibly positive experience - in every situation, the staff were friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Their commitment to making my three year old daughter happy was exceptionally kind - the folks who work the breakfast buffet in the morning deserve a special thank you. And the location is perfect, the decor is lovely, the room very comfortable, etc. I will definitely stay at the Whitman the next time I'm in Walla Walla... Gorgeous room, professional and helpful staff. My first visit to Walla Walla, loved the hotel, would definitely stay there again if I am in Walla Walla again.
