Both Dr Milia and his office were wonderful. His system for keeping in touch following the surgery is outstanding. I rarely fill out reviews, but this one is more than deserved. I am 78 years old, and cant say I am rushing to get my other shoulder done, but when I do, there is no question I will have Dr Milia do it. The pain level was not bad, and after a few days did not even need pain meds. I have a few months of PT, but after that I hope to get back on the golf course and find a different excuse for my lousy play!
Dr Milia is the absolute best surgeon.. He is smart, witty, caring and highly skilled. I would not see another orthopedic Dr. . Best surgeon I have ever known
After two opinions on my shoulder replacement surgery, I met with Dr. Milia. The other surgeons recommended a reverse shoulder replacement but Dr. Milia suggested an anatomical replacement. It went well and I’m on recovery road right now. His experience in stemless shoulder replacement gave me confidence that I made the best decision. My advice, talk to more than one surgeon and make your decision based on their experience and the outcomes you hope to realize.
He actually listened to me and showed me the mri. My last surgeon did not. Dr. Milia keeps in daily contact with you, my other surgeon did not!
