I had A Torn Labrum an some shredding with bone spurs in my (R) shoulder, Dr. Marc Milia an His Team did an Amazing Surgery, the comfort after the Surgery is Top Notch, if you follow There directions you will come out with very little pain! Dr Milia has done work on both of my shoulders. The aftercare is amazing! You receive an email daily to check in about how your recovery is going. It also gives you great tips! You can also post a comment and you receive a quick reply (within a few hours).
Dr. Milia was extremely professional, personable and respectful. He spend thorough time explaining what was causing my pain and walked through all the options to address said pain. He provided short term and longer term resolutions and the pros and cons. He was very detailed in what to expect during recovery as well. He has an excellent app he uses both before and after surgery to help you prepare and to check in each day afterwards. His office staff is extremely polite, personable and professional as well!

Dr. Milia was able to explain what was causing my shoulder pain and dysfunction in terms that were easy to understand. This made it easier to move forward with a treatment plan.

Dr Milia and staff walked me through every detail about what to expect for r shoulder surgery. Getwell loop and how-to videos extremely helpful prior and after surgery. My anxiety was relieved and I will definitely have Dr Milia perform the l shoulder.
I've been going to Dr Milia for over 15 yrs. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. My shoulders took a beating during my 21 yrs in the Army and Dr Milia has repaired it all. Finally my right shoulder was too far gone and Dr Milia performed a replacement. Two weeks later I'm doing great and happy I followed Dr Milia's recommendation.
This is the second shoulder surgery with Dr. Milia, but this one was a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr Milia keeps his patience, comfortable and has genuine compassion about how we feel. With his Get Well Loop I have daily communication with him. I have recommended him to many people, and he is the ONLY shoulder surgeon that I would be comfortable with. Certainly, he cannot retire until eventually, I have my other shoulder replacement done as well!
