I've had 3 kids at KUMED and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Parking sucks.
All staff is great and makes every attempt to give good patient care. My problem is with lab testing procedure they have in place. They don't use phlebotomist to collect blood. The RN collects labs. They insert a peripheral Venous (IV). They use this access to pull blood to send for labs. Peripheral venous access blood cannot be drawn for lab tests. The blood is contaminated and test results are inaccurate. I tried to explain to nurse and doctors but they are like all phlebotomist are dirt they walk on and they are smarter t... read more
I wish I were spending this beautiful weekend somewhere else, but I must say I get the best care while I'm here. The nursing staff, aides and physicians are so nice. It may be a bad day, but they truly try to bring a smile to your face!!!! To Salam, Haley, Brooke, Chantel, Brenda, Laura and all the other great staff on the 4th floor. Thank you for putting up with me while being cranky, it was very difficult not having food for 3 1/2 days, but all the goodies when I got permission was well worth it.
