They ferused us propane during the coronavirus, we owe about 200.00, and won't give us any more, we are elderly and disabled, we were making regular payments

The local office has made multiple attempts to assist with the financial aspect of your account. It has been confirmed that there was no interruption in service due to a lock-off of your propane tank; however, the delivery was delayed due to a past due balance on the account. The local office worked with the state to assist with payment to your account and made delivery the same day that payment was confirmed. They are horrible. They overcharge for their gas in Texas, and by a lot. They also let my tank run dry, even though I was on the “autofill” plan. I switched suppliers in January 2020. It’s now April and they still have not picked up their tank from my property— it’s a real eyesore. They deserve to go out of business.

Contact occurred between the district manager and the Redman's to discuss pricing options as well as other concerns. The local office does apologize for the delay in the removal of the tank, and the removal is scheduled to occur on 4/10/2020. We do hope to obtain another chance to provide excellent customer service in the future.

Locked a tank that I owned without notifying me or asking permission then charged to unlock it. Said it was for my safety I had no intent to hook up propane until I had fixed the small leak that had likely been in my house for years, but I also wanted to switch companies because of bad customer service and bad prices, so they locked my tank to get just a bit more money out of me.

When I signed up with Amerigas one of the key things I asked was if there was a minimum usage requirement and if I had a tank rental fee. Answer was no fee and no minimum. I only use propane for my furnace and fill once a year. Got a surprise this year with a $160 tank rental fee! What!!! When I inquired with my branch in Howell MI. I kept getting this same woman who was not the branch manager. She basically told me that it was my fault I didn’t see the post card or email that they sent to me. WARNING: Avoid this company at all costs. After 10 plus years AmeriGas called and told me I had to move my tank because of distance. They said they would stop delivery if II didn't comply (they owned the tank). Two "management people" came out to "access" the problem. They agreed there was no other place to move the tank. They then suggested I move it to the front of the house next to the stairs leading to the front door!!! I told them they could come pick up their tank. After review of the account the sale of a propane tank to Mr. & Mrs. Stetson occurred back in September 2019. A tank rental credit was not processed in full leaving a small balance on the account that the Stetson’s do not owe, in addition to a late fee. The erroneous balance of $57.61 has been removed as of 4/8/20 and the account now reflects a zero balance and is fully closed out. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

These people are crooks. They change their "terms and conditions" without notification. Since they own the tank that is buried in my yard, I have no choice but to use Sawyer. They know this, and take advantage of customers through their pricing.

Greedy crooks !! When we bought our home the tank was already with amerigas so we never signed any contract with them. We changed propane company when we found other fuel places had gas for over a $1.00 cheaper only to find out that amerigas doesn't have the same price for every customer, the less amount of fuel you use the more you are paying, sounds like they are running an illegal business to us ! Now they think we owe them for coming out to pick up the tank, which took them almost 1 month to come out and get, it's a sham... read more

ZERO STARS!! After multiple conversations, have yet to resolve billing issues with Cooper Gas. Was told that my invoices are not true reflection of what's on my account in their system. EXACTLY how am I supposed to know what's on my account??? After paying bill in full, received another invoice stating owed $163.03???? Customer service (or lack thereof) representative states unless a full tank delivery,there is tank rental fee but nowhere in terms and conditions does it state so. https://www.amerigas.com/terms-and-conditions... read more

The local office has been in contact in an attempt to resolve any billing issues as well as to offer assistance towards the balance due. Although the exact amount of usage required to avoid the tank rental charge is not mentioned in our Terms and Conditions, the policy does state that, "The amount of rent can vary depending on, among other things, the size of the tank, the location of the residence, and your annual usage. Please contact your local office if you have questions about the Tank Rent that is applicable to you."

Charged us 50% more than going rate for gas, with no interaction. We've been a will-call customer for ten years and this has never happened. It's ridiculous. $4.99/gal? What the heck?

Pricing can fluctuate from delivery to delivery. Our pricing structure is outlined in our Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed online at www.amerigas.com or can be emailed or mailed upon customer request. As a courtesy, this most recent delivery was re-billed at $3.99 per gallon.
