Recommendedhad ankle surgery there and they were wonderful.
My labor and delivery of our baby girl here in early March 2019 was one of the best experiences of my life! I cannot say enough about every care professional that took care of me and our baby girl. Dr. Martinie preformed my c-section along with an incredible surgery team. The nurses all treated me like I was family, I've never felt more cared for in my life. Labor and delivery here is amazing..... had my son here 3 days ago and they were there every step of the way... staff is very kind and helpful.....
My disapproval is related to Maple Grove Hospital Emergency services, its lack of transparency, irrelevant treatment and charges. In 2018 our we went to get a flue test and prescription of Tamiflu for our 9-year old son. ER denied the test due to limited supply and later imposed a large sum charge for their "service". When I was trying to dispute the charges for ER irrelevant service (we had PA doing basic check-up, no prescriptions or treatment) - the Hospital resisted covering-up their wrong doing. Kind, caring, professional staff who treat patients with respect. I just had surgery there and was impressed with everyone from the lady at the information desk to the OR staff and the staff on the floor. My needs were met promptly. Not one person left my room without saying "is there anything else I can do for you?" The facility is comfortable, clean, bright and cheery. Highly recommend this hospital.
My daughter came in for asthma-related problems, and the nurse’s, PA, and the Respiratory therapist treated my daughter well. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the nurse’s aide with the wonky soccer mom haircut. She was rude, disrespectful, and condescending throughout the triage. I asked to sit down, and she says “You can sit down but you’d be totally in my way.” Would have been a great experience had we not be treated like trash on the street by that so-called nurse’s aide.
Excellent providers, nurses and staff! I can’t thank the ER and 3rd floor enough for the excellent care I received! Thank you.
