Mi favorito!!!! – My wife and I recently went there for a romantic Valentines Day Dinner and I felt I just had to write about my wonderful experiance. We both tried the specail Red Snapper they had and it was fabulous! We finished off with some of their 3 leches cake and we could not have had a better ending.
the best mexican food in the city – Manuels is a great place to go for great mexican food. The food is very authentic and always fresh. The patio is a great place to sit and eat when the weather is nice. I really enjoy the landscaping and listening to the water fountians while drinking fabulous margaritas. I highly recommend this resteraunt to people who enjoy great mexican food in a nice atmosphere.
A night to remember! – I work at a large office and I was put incharge of getting together an office dinner, being my procratinator self I left it for the last second. I frequent Manuel's quiet a bit and called up the manager and to see about a large party that same day! They were more than helpful, they were amazing! They had our party seated right on time, had great drinks, great food, and gave us great service. Manuel's made me look great infornt of my office. Thanks!
I've never been disappointed at Manuel's – As a frequent diner at Manuel's Great Hills, I can honestly say I have never been disappointed! A pleasent atmosphere, service that is prompt and friendly, and a menu that always satisfies ... these things and more make Manuel's my number one choice for Mexican cuisine in Austin!
A place to visit – Manuel's is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. I am Mexican, and have a good knowledge of what good-interior-mexican food is, and I tell you Manuel's has it. The service is very attentive and profesional, the atmosphere is the best, with a nice patio and great customers.
Great patio, great food! – My husband & I go to Manuel's frequently, it doesn't usually have a long wait and the food is good for a change from Tex-Mex to more interior Mexican food. My favorite dish is the black bean flautas with green sauce. The outdoor patio is well landscaped and relaxing, I prefer it to the inside.
Not your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant – I ate here today with my sister. We both loved our food. We especially recomment the chili con queso which was different from any other I have had and especially good. My sister had a chicken and cheese enchiladas and I had seafood enchiladas. We were both quite happy with what we had.
Most beautiful outdoor patio in Austin! – I've been living up North in the Arboretum area for over 10 years, and never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a beautiful Mexican hacienda would be in my backyard. That's how I describe the patio at Manuel's Great Hills. It has a huge oak tree and wisteria covered trellises that create tons of shade. Expensive Cheap Food ....... – I was not impressed with this Eatery at all. Service was bad and if I wanted Black Beans in every Menu item I would have went to Mexico. Don't visit this place if your born and raised Texan. You will be disappointed.
