Such a beautiful location with tons of festive Moon Festival decorations! We’re so excited to hear that this location is currently undergoing renovations and will be reopening its buffet service on October 5, 2026! Ok. Im not one to bad mouth any place and I can eat just about anything. I ordered take out dinner for 1 , chicken balls and general tsao chicken. Im disgusted in the food. The chicken ball dip had been ketchuped to death. I dont know what this thing general task chicken is but its not taco chicken. Again so much soy sauce and mud water added. The Mandarin restaurant on Eglinton was lively but not too crowded—perfect for a casual meal. Staff were warm and attentive, with servers checking in regularly. Portions were generous, and the buffet had a great variety of fresh, flavorful dishes. Prices felt reasonable for the quality. Parking was straightforward nearby. The only small suggestion? Maybe a note on the menu about drier dishes like sliders, just in case. Overall, a pleasant, welcoming spot with excellent service.
I ordered the General Tso’s chicken and honestly, it was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I could barely eat a few bites before giving up and throwing the rest in the garbage. The texture and taste were really bad, and I honestly wasn’t even sure if it was chicken. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
