After multiple trips to the ER and multiple tests I was told by my GI doctor that I needed my gallbladder removed. In the beginning I had a very bad experience at ER and with the EMT’s so I begged to go to Lakewood Ranch if any future attacks occurred. The problem with that was my GI doctor works out of MMH. I was set up to see a surgeon and my gallbladder refused to wait until my appointment. I had a severe attack and ended up in ER again only this time the staff was AMAZING. From working here for 13 years to being a patient numerous times I have never had a bad experience.
Really efficient with friendly happy staff
The nurses were great but I was discharged too early. Still had pain and nausea.

I had fallen in June breaking/ fracturing my humerus and rotary cup. A young resident Dr.David Wakeland addressed all my concerns and needs. He and his fellow physicians were wonderful in treating me with dignity and promptness. He found a heart defect that was repaired and my humerus was repaired. I had just moved here and had no doctors.
