Everyone is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I can’t say one bad thing about my experience with day surgery. Even though we have several hospitals to choose from, and have used other with very bad results, I will only use Manatee Memorial Hospital is the only one I will use.
I have had to use Manatee memorial hospital several times since moving to Florida in the past three years. The staff is always courteous and very professional and the doctors that I have had at the actual hospital have been the best. I would recommend Manatee Memorial overt any other hospital in the area by far
I arrived to MMH at exactly 2:00 PM, was seen by an intake person, sat in the lobby for approx 15 minutes total, was in my room and 4 minutes later was seen by a MD. Not an RN or an ARNP but an actual Emergency Medicine Doctor. That doctor is Dr Grant MD. She was fantastic. I told her what was going on, and she got me fixed up and out of there, all within 2 hours of my arrival time. I walked out the front of the newly built Emergency Room at exactly 3:56 PM. I had double knee replacement. I was very impressed with the pre-surgery preparations and the entire staff. Nurses were prompt and efficient. The hospital was very clean and proactive to prevent infections. I liked the separate entrances for outpatient and surgery thus not exposed to emergency room germs etc.

The best hospital experience I have ever had, while my stay did not involve life threatening surgery I was treated as a vip. The personnel in the Heart unit are caring and efficient, I was kept informed each step of the way and was in and out of the hospital in 3 1/2 hours.
