First Time There Host was so rude especially how she talk to the customer like they were kids smh food was not what the town was talking about Wasted $42 I am big supporter for my black community but when u wrong u wrong get rid of the host might make a difference when your customers come

Came here they didn’t have chicken for 15 minutes. Server is rude!! Food got cold and they expect us to wait to get the chicken. We already done with the food! Never again! Need more severs! It’s a Friday night.... shouldn’t you make more food at 6 pm dinner rush??? Very disappointed

Oh,shoot! I had catfish, jerk chicken, fried chicken, collard greens seasoned with turkey, macaroni and cheese, candied yams and sweet potato pie. They also have red beans and rice, white rice, ribs and corn bread. They have only been open for a few weeks. They are set up buffet style and you pay by the weight of your plate of food. Best soulfood in town and served by very nice people.
The decor is very nice and the food is great. It is a little expensive, but over all experience was nice!

My catfish was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right!! Was really delicious and I'll be back! The collard greens with turkey were delicious too but portion could be bigger. Overall, I recommend folks eating at Mama Sheila's!! Thanks for bringing this authentic soul food joint to South Minneapolis! Much needed!!
