My mom wanted to try this place. First off it’s $16 a person plus tax which make it $18. Then they got the nerve to charge extra for a drink and dessert. The food taste like it been sitting for hrs. Flavorless and when I talked to a waitress about it, she said the cooks are still in training. Why are charging us $18 to be a taste tester. Not to mention the food is in the back so u can’t even see what the bogus set up look like before u pay. These ppl bamboosal u out ya money. My sister heard great things about the food, so we came in to check it out, and was pleasantly surprised! Not only was the food AMAZING, but it's a Christian, family owned business with very friendly staff! I reccomend others to try it and I will definitely be back!

My mom and I went all the way across town to eat hete. They did not dissapoint! The food is amazing! The customer service was beyond great. The atmosphere made you never want to leave because there was so much art you could feel the love of soul 🎶 music. We will definatly be back the next time we are in Minnesota.
Thank you for a great soul food experience! The buffet style set-up is a great idea. They offered a wide variety of flavorful food and kept it fresh. In addition to the food we absolutely loved the atmosphere and the staff. And you can't beat the price of $20 per person. I read previous reviews where the quality of the food was in question. To those reviewers - I hear you and maybe it was because they were working out the kinks as a new restaurant. Please don't rule them out as a strong soul food contender.
