After calling several pros including Mallard's the other two pros would not except the job due to the location of the project. Unfortunately it took me four months to hire a pro. Mallard's was very attentive to my needs. Mallard's handled themselves professionally as a pro. Mallard's strives for top notch customer service and they were affordable to my budget. He came on very short notice to fix my AC when it was 95 degrees out and my wife was home with our three little kids. All at a great price!
I punctured a radiator pipe installing a shelf in the closet (at 10:30 at night on a weekend) I frantically put in a request with Home Advisor and D called first thing in the morning, came out within the hour and fixed a tricky to get to pipe, quickly and inexpensive. Will call him next time I need any HVAC work done.
I had two other Home Advisor "pros" try to convince me to get a new swamp cooler this year, even though I can't afford it. Darnell was a straight shooter and told me mine has one more year left, and fixed the pump and belt, and now I'm set till next year. I will be contacting him to replace it when it does go out.
They made sure that everything was working with my system on more than one occasion during their visit. I was also educated on how to do some work on my own in the future. Great experience!
So we purchased our house just a few months prior, our swamp cooler had been winterized prior to us buying. The guy that came out, de winterized it, taught us how to use it and told us about how we should maintain it. He was very friendly and helpful.
