What used to be an old pineapple cannery is now Mala, the epitome of global organic fusion cuisine. It's not as complicated as it sounds. Chef Mark Ellman has his concepts straight: keep everything fresh, quantities adequate, use organic ingredients as much as possible and use no hydrogenated oils or preservatives. Our party of 4 had an ocean side table on a beautiful clear evening - following rain returning from Lanai. We shared an amazing appetizer of Brussel sprouts and I had spricy tofu as an entre. We all thought our selections were "to die for!" The service was excellent and our server was very helpful in making selections. Mai Tai was OK. Would definitely plan to dine there again, and again, and again!!! Thank you!

Mala is on our list every time we talk about going out to eat. This time was our first Sunday brunch and once again... no complaints! The view is amazing, we order the seared ahi bruschetta every single time we go... it's just one of our go-to places! We especially love lunch there so we can watch the turtles!
