What used to be an old pineapple cannery is now Mala, the epitome of global organic fusion cuisine. It's not as complicated as it sounds. Chef Mark Ellman has his concepts straight: keep everything fresh, quantities adequate, use organic ingredients as much as possible and use no hydrogenated oils or preservatives. RecommendedThank you so much to our server Alex and the staff of Mala. We came with a party of 10 with reservations requesting the patio with ocean view. Being in the restaurant business I know it isn’t easy to accommodate especially with such a small patio like theirs. We arrived and our table was ready and on the patio! Beautiful view of the sunset. They gave us a complimentary champagne toast for my parents 39th wedding anniversary! SO nice! Food was delicious!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you again!!!
