Omg so good! The street corn was delicious. A perfectly made margarita with fresh squeezed juices !! Tacos are amazing. Great service.(Alley) My new favorite Mexican restaurant......everything everything is made from scratch !!!
Last night was my first time at the restaurant. We had a very good experience last night. Food was GREAT! Chips and salsa are addicting. Cute decor. Highly recommended.
I love MAIZ. Great good, great service, great atmosphere. I bring a lot of my friends here and we have a great time.
Owner should not be in business that deals with people. No people skills at all.......He is awful with customer service. I will never go back
Owner is a absoulte JERK........I have a medical card that allows me to eat of the kids menu!!!! I told the waitress that and she said ok, that was fine. Then they charged me full price instead of giving me the kids price. He said he was not going to adjust my bill. Does not cater to special needs at all!!!! Will never go back
Always great service from the bartenders. Usually here nearly every $2 Tuesday for Tacos. The carnitas are amazing, the fried avocado is a close second, and always on soft corn. They taste deliciously like something your abuelita made. Best fresh salsa around. When its not Tuesday I go for the flautas, crispy goodness with a great salsa verde. Add a side of street corn and its a done deal.

Which it... read more
Business response:
Hi Tracy, thank you for your comments. We always look forward to feedback! There should be equal amounts of queso, corn and pico de gallo, and the meat of your choice. So this definitely sounds like something was missed. I apologize. The Gordo has always had the rice and beans on the inside at both locations, so I'm not sure what to say there. Neither item has changed from location to location. You can always add sliced avocado to the salads or any menu item. With that said I'm happy to get a taco salad on the house next tim... read more
