Called for reservations was told no . Had to be three hours a head. Was on a Wednesday night. Really..losing business. Was so noisy on phone couldn't even hear. Go to Aubree s

Hi Michele, I'm sorry our reservation policy didn't work for you yesterday. We are extremely busy with a wait for tables every night of the week. This policy allows us to best manage the flow of customers in a timely manner and is a best practice used by most successful restaurants that are full during dinner hours. The Bistec is outstanding and so are the baked avocados. The two cons we have are the coleslaw and the nuisance of fruit flies that hang around each time we have been there.
We passed by this place multiple times before actually deciding to give it a try. I was reluctant because the marketing/advertising wasn't that great- and it hadn't been recommended by anyone. Boy was I wrong. It was wonderful. The server was fantastic, friendly, timely and knowledgeable. The manager was attentive and friendly - bringing our food out, even without there being a problem. I believe that this can be a great place. But if you can't manage to handle the crowds or move to an appropriate place to take a takeout order, the service just put that in the toilet. I'm very sure it's hard to hear a customer on the phone when the background is very loud, consistently putting the customer on hold, and passing the phone instead of moving to an area that is more quiet. We LOVE❤️❤️❤️ Maiz! Kid friendly (I do bring my own crayons and paper) and amazing food! Love the enchiladas verde! And tacos. Oh my! We always have great service. ❤️❤️
