What do Teddy Roosevelt, Marilyn Monroe and Diana, Princess of Wales, have in common? You guessed it. They've all taken rides on the Maid of the Mist—or rather one of seven Maids, which first launched its boats in 1846. This world-famous boat takes its passengers right into the heart of the Falls. You can catch the boat on either the American or Canadian side, with boardings every 15 minutes between April and the end of October.

hardly anyone in line , stayed on the bottom seen great views!
Loved this. We had no trouble with staff or any problems. This was so much fun to do. They give you a poncho to wear that you can keep and also souvenir postcards. Remember Do not wear anything you don't want wet. It was so cool to go up close to the falls!

I've been in WNY my whole life - seen the Falls any number of times, but had never been on the Maid of the Mist. It was great - you get uncomfortably close to the Canadian side - the volumn of water is overwhelming as you slowing rotate at the base. It was a lot more affordable than I expected - $18.50/each, $12.50 for under 12 and we didn't wait long at all!
My wife and l drove up from Louisiana, a road trip to celebrate our 53rd anniversary, both 74 years old and first time to see the falls, was amazed at another one of Gods great creations. Loved the ride on the maid of the mist. Would recommend this for everyone's bucket list. Crossed it off mine !!!
I've lived in the WNY area my whole life. Never done Maid of the Mist (32yo). It was awesome and super fun! Though Ive seen the Falls many times and they're not therefore super special to me because I've always been able to see them whenever I want, this was different though and so worth it!

Wonderful experience!!! First time for my husband and myself. We arrived early around 930 am and there were less crowds... there were no signs to tell you where to go, but walked through the park and followed the people. Once arrived buy your tickets , up the steps or elevator to the the elevator that decends down the The Maid of the Mist.
