They've all taken rides on the Maid of the Mist—or rather one of seven Maids, which first launched its boats in 1846. This world-famous boat takes its passengers right into the heart of the Falls. You can catch the boat on either the American or Canadian side, with boardings every 15 minutes between April and the end of October.

Magnificent!!!
Loved every minute! Everyone and everything was awesome. The Maid of the Mist was mind blowing! But the last night our cell phone was lost or stolen, likely in the men's restroom attached to the information building located near the Cave of the Winds ticket area. Please help, it's filled with eight days of family vacation pictures that don't seem to have made it onto any of our clouds :-(. It's a black Motorola phone with a slightly cracked screen. It is in a black case.

RecommendedGo early in the morning. We bought our tickets online and were there by 10am and walked right on the boat. By the time we got back to the Visitor Center, wait times were over an hour. The ride itself was meh as everyone was packed in like a cattle car. Unless you’re the first 100 on the boat, the experience can be anticlimactic. Don’t recycle your poncho just yet. There’s a section after unboarding to go next to the falls up to the “crow’s nest”. Far better than the boat IMO

Can’t visit Niagara Falls and not take a ride on the Maid of the Mist. It’s the best way to experience the falls and be right beneath them...

We enjoyed the boat ride and were able to have amazing views of the falls.
I will never be tired of coming to the Falls and getting so close on the maid of the mist!! I have been coming here my whole life and yesterday, I brought my 7 month old granddaughter, just like I did with her father when he was just a baby!!
