They've all taken rides on the Maid of the Mist—or rather one of seven Maids, which first launched its boats in 1846. This world-famous boat takes its passengers right into the heart of the Falls. You can catch the boat on either the American or Canadian side, with boardings every 15 minutes between April and the end of October.

My husband and I went to Niagara Falls NY for our 1 year Anniversary in July and we had an amazing time! The Maid of the Mist is so cool being able to go right up near the horseshoe falls! And also the cave of the winds is so awesome!!! I would definitely recommend people to go here it's a life changing experience to see what Mother Nature has made!!
Its brilliant! Although you can't see the falls, its pretty rad being within all of the mist!
Our family visited the Falls today and took the Maid of the Mist ride. What a thrill! An easy ride (especially for someone who is very uneasy on boats), friendly staff and great family memories. If you visit the Falls, ride the Maid of the Mist. Definitely the highlight of the day!
It was one of my bucket lists. I recommend this place for everyone to visit for once in a lifetime experience.
We loved the ride, the staff was awesome, friendly and knowledgable, checked off the bucket list but hope to do it again !!!
