Awesome Place... Mahan Animal clinic is the best veterinary clinic I have every been to. The atmosphere is laid-back and there's only one doctor and friendly staff. Dr. Scott is really thorough and interested in making your pet better and he doesn't over-diagnose his patients. versus the 'your pet has a million problems and we're going to charge you for all of them' sham that too many clinics do. Mahan Animal Clinic is number one in my book! Dr. Pliskin and his staff are the nicest. Dr. Pliskin was kind and patient with my two dogs and was very accomadating to me - since I didn't make an appointment. What I lso appreciated about dr. Pliskin is he was there for my animals, not to push a bunch of tests they didn't need. Eventhough it was my first time there, it felt like home. BEST VET EVER! I went to take my 2 new puppies in for their second shot. The veternarian their is SUPER nice. He answered all my questions and told me everything I should except. He was very open! I had gone to another vet with my past pets and he was super mean, not really ever available to speak to. The vet here is the opposite and I would recommend him to anyone! His prices also are very affordable and none expensive!
Best Vet Clinic in town Dr. Pliskin is the nicest doctor I have ever met. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to get to know each client. He and his staff always offer a warm smile and treat you as if you are family. I would recommend Mahan Animal Clinic to anyone and I hope that if you are looking for a Vet you try him first...I promise you won't be disappointed.
Thanks to Dr. Pliskin and his Staff I have to agree with the other reviews here that Dr. Pliskin is a wonderful vet. And the ladies on his staff are great also. They are caring, compassionate people who made me feel better about the necessary task of putting my beloved 12 year old cat to sleep. They "felt my pain" and did everything humanly possible to help me get through the ordeal.

Wonderful clinic I brought in a stray kitten that I had found over the weekend to have it checked out. Understanding that this kitten might be claimed soon by its previous owner, the vet was completely honest with me about what treatment I should and should not get. He was funny and great with the kitten. I highly recommend this vet- the staff is very friendly and the vet is down to earth. If I get to keep this kitten he will definitely be my vet.
Dr. Pliskin have been taking care of my cats for a while, he is great vet, and will always answer all my questions regarding my pets. The staff members are all wonderful and caring. I will recommend Dr. Pliskin to anybody in need of a good vet here in Tallahassee.
