MY NEW FAVORITE SPOT!!! FOOD IS GOOD. BARBQUE FALL OFF THE BONE..AND YOU GET ALOT FOR YOUR MONEY IT FILLS YOU UP.. VERY REASONABLE..MY MOM USE TO LOVE RIB IT UP TO THE POINT SHE WOULD CALL YOU FROM OUT OF TOWN WHILE YOU ON VACATION TO GO GET HER A RIB SANDWICH... BUT ONCE I TURNED HER OWN TO THIS SPOT SHE SAID "RIB IT UP DONE LOST A CUSTOMER" EVEN THOUGH MY ORDER WAS HALF WAY WRONG FIRST TIME I ORDERED AND THEY DELIVERED TO ME THE MAN WAS REAL NICE ABOUT FIXING MY ORDER BY BRING BACK WHAT WAS MISSING.
We drove in from Alton, Illinois, and were treated like family!! The BEST ribs I've ever had!! The kids loved their burgers too!! We'll be back for sure!!
This is the best BBQ in Birmingham. I say that having been a fan of Golden Rule BBQ my entire life. It's a small, cozy place in the theater district.
I finally got the chance to try magnolia bbq today . I must say the ribs are the most tender fall off the bone ribs I ever had! I definitely will be back very soon!
The bbq is Frickin good. Everyone was really nice, the owner was very nice and I liked her very much. Great experience and food! :)
If you’re lucky enough to live in (or visit) Birmingham AL, you MUST eat at Magnolia BBQ & Fish. The meat falls off the ribs; the sauce is perfect, and the sides of slaw or baked beans are great as well. The service is typically Southern – friendly conversations with everyone. Dameione, the owner, is a master of his craft and loves to share the rich history of their location. And if you want a quick bite, you can’t beat their $1 sliders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!
My first time visiting this place and I was sooo impressed!!! The food is magnificent. The ribs are so tender that you can literally pull it off the bone. The fish????? I thought that I was in fish heaven. The service is so friendly and the restaurant is immaculate. I am going back today for Round 2.
