Mediocre at best – Went with a group for lunch. I enjoyed the decorations, and I found the service to be friendly. However, the food was a different story. I had the Veal Marsala with fettuccine Alfredo. The veal was mostly dried out and tough, and the sauce was rather bland. The pasta was overcooked. For dessert, I ordered some tiramisu and a macchiato, but none of the employees even knew what a macchiato was! This is simply not acceptable for a so-called "Italian" restaurant at this price level. I love it! – I went for my birthday and I love this restrurant. The servers were nice. The atmosphere was romantic. They even gave me sugar cookie cake for my birthday! How sweet of them!
Great food! Delicious leftovers! – I've been here twice. Once for lunch, once for dinner and I'm planning to try the Happy Hour tonight. I've also had some of their takeout. We had lunch in the bar, crab cake sandwich = awesome! For dinner, we had a wonderful waiter who was very knowledgeable and helpful for our first dinner there. Lost our reservation, made us wait 45 minutes and sat us in the kitchen – We checked in 30 minutes early for our reservation. They lost our name on the list and then told us we had told them we were waiting for additional memebers of our party. We were a party of two waiting 45 minuites with a prior reservation. After two polite discussions with the host they sat at the door to the kitchen. I will never go back period.
