I had to have a minor surgery recently & I was soooo happy it was scheduled here! I had never been to the women’s hospital before, but I just knew the treatment and care would be outstanding! Everyone was so kind and I was extremely comfortable. All of my questions and concerns were answered right away. It’s nice having professionals who really care!
My fiancé and I both agree that Magees gave us the most OUTSTANDING experience. The nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, house keeping . Everyone was so engaging , kind , I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for me, my baby, or my family.
Tl;Dr: I never had rude staff, fantastic aftercare for my unplanned c-section and newborn, very clean and professional. Prepare that you may need a c-section, this hospital has an above average rate of c-sections for first-time moms with no complications during pregnancy and I believe their practices and routines are to blame. My 6 year old daughter had a overnight eeg and the staff on 5 in the women's hospital wss fantastic. My daughter brought her fake baby and they checked her out to after they did my daughter and gave her games to play with and after they got off work they played a few games with her. The best decision that I made was switching from my long time OB to Magee Women’s. After 6 miscarriages and finding out I was pregnant again, I decided to make the change and follow Kaara Matkovich as I met her with my first daughter in 2019 and knew she would help me in any way possible.
