My mother had a hysterectomy in February for uterin cancer and was on the fifth floor. I thought maybe the nurses and other staff were just having a bad few days so I decided not to write a review. However, after speaking to some other women at chemo who were also on the fifth floor seems all their days are bad. Everyone has the same complaints the biggest one being the staff refuses to give patients water or the patients have to ask about ten times in the course of four to five hours. I had both of my sons at Magee & received great care both times. My youngest son born January 2016 had to go to the NICU and the entire staff in the NICU was great we loved them all! I had absolutely no complaints about any Dr, Nurse, Nurses aid & PCT I had for the 4 days me and my son where at the hospital. They where all very helpful and kind.
I had my RNY GB August of 2008. I received top notch care at Magee and I recommend them to anyone who needs care in the Pittsburgh area.
